You are eager to marry your Person. Whether you want to scale down your plans to have your closest people with you, or elope just you two and plan a party for later, I’ll be by your side making sure that your wedding is captured beautifully.
Over the past year, I have photographed tiny elopements, microweddings, and socially-distanced outdoor gatherings. Though this past year has been immensely challenging, I know that my couples have photos to pass on to new generations, who will want to hear about your epic pandemic love story.

Safety is my #1 priority, which is why I am constantly checking for CDC updates and Vermont state regulations.
During our time together (and in general!), I’ll be:
Double-masking
2) Sanitizing my equipment
3) Utilizing frequent COVID testing
4) Adhering to all VT restrictions
So that your day is as worry-free as possible.

An elopement typically involves just two people and their officiant (and maybe a couple of best friends if desired). If you can’t wait to be married, an elopement is an intimate way to celebrate your love with less planning. Some couples feel anxious about wedding preparation, or feel like a traditional wedding was never their style. Tailoring your elopement to how you actually are as a couple might feel more meaningful to you.
Couples who want to have a meaningful, limitless day of “just them.”

A micro wedding typically includes a smaller guest list (up to 50 guests). Even though the guest count is smaller, this type of wedding is often planned. Many couples choose choose to spend their full wedding budget - just on fewer people. Think: beautiful wedding dresses, elegant florals, candlelight dinners and open bars.

After a ceremony, many couples are choosing to host the traditional wedding they were planning (pre-COVID). Think: a packed dance floor, a bridal party, a larger number of guests.

We were a bit nervous about being in front of the camera, but Anne made it SUPER fun, relaxed, and coached/encouraged us every step of the way. She is always very responsive, informative, and kind, and her photos are BEAUTIFUL. We couldn't be happier to have hired her as our photographer!

Even pre-pandemic, I had a solid system in place for emergency situations. There is a network of local photographers that can sub in for each other if there is an absolute emergency for a photographer. Though a different person would be shooting your wedding, you can rest assured that I trust this person and have chosen them based on their amazing quality. I will then edit the images myself, so that your wedding pictures are still what you had imagined. Luckily, I have not had to rely on this sub system before, but I have substituted for another photographer -- and it was a seamless experience for the couple!
If you are rescheduling within 1 year on a weekday, I can simply transfer your deposit over to your new date provided that I am available. Be sure to check with me first to make sure I have your new date open! If you need to reschedule farther out, I will apply your deposit toward any of my new collection options.
I don’t expect for you two to wear masks while I am photographing you, as long as we are 6 feet away from everyone or have been vaccinated!
I check up on the newest Vermont regulations, and as of now: Vermonters are predicted to be able to access a vaccine by May, with life returning to a new normal by July 3. It looks like this summer’s weddings will be good to go!
